Understanding evaluation statuses
The Evaluation List displays the status of all evaluations that you have access to.
Evaluation status | Who can edit an evaluation with that status | Description |
Open | Any Evaluator with access to the Educator can edit, unless another Evaluator has the evaluation locked. | Open evaluations can be locked or unlocked. |
Removed | No user can edit. | Any Evaluator with access to the Educator can restore a removed evaluation. When an evaluation is restored, its status changes to Open. |
Ready for Conference | A District Administrator or Administrative Evaluator can re-open the evaluation for additional editing, or release the evaluation. | This status indicates that the evaluator has finished entering information in the evaluation form. Typically, the next step in the evaluation process includes a conference with the teacher or admin being evaluated. After the conference, a District Administrator or Administrative Evaluator can re-open the evaluation for additional editing, or release the evaluation. |
Released | No user can edit. | After a District Administrator or Administrative Evaluator releases an evaluation, it is considered final. No user can edit it or change its status. Educators can view their own Released evaluations. |
Incomplete | No user can edit. | This status is for evaluations that were still open when the school year closed. Evaluators cannot mark evaluations as Incomplete. |
