Report Scatterplots, Year 2019, Test/Subject PSSA English Language Arts, Grade 4th Grade

Achievement
vs
Average Growth Index
This selection shows the relationship between growth and students' average achievement. The pattern you see can provide insight into the effects of educational practices and policies in your area. SAS EVAAS analyses typically show little to no correlation between students' growth and their achievement. Therefore, schools and LEAs/districts with higher, average, or lower percentages of students with a history of higher or lower achievement can show growth. Due to the pandemic's impact on student learning, reporting from previous years might yield patterns between growth and student characteristics that are different from the typical relationships. These trends provide information on students' different learning experiences during the pandemic.
